Malaysia Banknotes - 1996 Third Series

The third series was issued with designs in the spirit of Wawasan 2020.

1996 ^3a – introduced RM2 banknotes

1998 ^3b – introduced RM50 & RM100 banknotes with hologram strip

1999 ^3c –RM5 banknotes issued

2000 ^3d  – reintroduced RM1 banknotes

2004 ^3e – introduced RM5 polymer & RM10 notes with hologram strip
